I primarily teach private and semi-private lessons in my home studio located in the heart of Wellington, Florida. Directions are give below.

Private Yoga Lessons in my Studio:

All classes last between 60-90 minutes depending upon your capacity and what we are working on. If you have not previously studied with me, your first lesson might last longer than 90 minutes.

Your first lesson, whether you a yoga beginner or an advanced yoga practitioner, introduces you to The Mechanics of Yoga from a Western Perspective and is extremely important, as it establishes your foundations for everything that follows. As you will quickly discover, a basic understanding of these mechanics significantly affects your progress and outcome; for without this understanding, yoga becomes just another exercise program that may or may not give you the results you are seeking.

After your Introduction, private and semi-private classes are scheduled by appointment only. I do not offer regularly scheduled group classes.

All yoga classes cost $90 prepaid. Your first class does not have to be pre-paid.

Because I teach by appointment only and have to manage my ongoing schedule, an additional $10 per session is charged for all non-prepaid appointments.

  • Pre-payment guarantees your scheduled appointment times.

  • Non-prepaid appointments are subject to rescheduling or cancellation.

  • Four or more prepaid classes are recommended.

  • Rates for unusually long sessions are negotiable.

Small Group Classes in my Studio

All yoga lessons, including the Introduction, may be shared with up to three more people (for a maximum of four persons) for the very same $90 per-session charge. When classes exceed four students, there is an additional $20 charge per extra person. My private studio can accommodate a maximum of six students.

I do not organize group classes. If you wish to bring other people with you, you need to decide among yourselves how the prepaid $90 per session charge is to be apportioned.

Prepayment for Private and Group Classes

Prepaying four or more classes up front assures you of having your classes at the time and day of your choosing. Students who prepay receive priority scheduling for subsequent classes. Otherwise, I can not guarantee that "your time" will be available, as it might be taken by someone else who wishes to prepay for that particular time and day.

Cancellations less than 24 hours: 50% charge.

Credits are applied to your next prepaid series.

Cancellation Policy for Prepaid Group Classes

Because I do not organize your group classes and because I am there to teach your class, there are no partial refunds should members of your group cancel or fail to show.

As always, full credit is given for a cancelled class when I am notified more than 24 hours prior to your appointment.

If all members of your group cancel less than 24 hours or fail to show for an appointment, I offer a fifty percent refund for that prepaid class which is applied toward your next series.

Private Teacher Training or Personal Intensive Study

Private Teacher Training or Private Intensive Programs can be designed to meet your specific needs and requirements. Such classes typically last between two-to-three hours per session with up to two sessions daily and can typically be arranged to meet your travel schedule.

The cost is $190 per session for one trainee; $230 per session for two; $300 per session for three; and $350 per session for four. A fifty percent deposit (for your first ten sessions) is required to reserve your class times (see Refund Policy directly below). Local accommodations are conveniently located nearby.

Refund Policy for Private Teacher Training or Intensive Study:

Should you need to cancel your Private Training or Intensive, a full refund of your deposit will be made when notice is given prior to thirty days of your event. Seventy-five percent (75%) of your deposit is refunded for cancellations within thirty days of your event; fifty percent (50%) of your deposit is refunded for cancellations within fourteen days of your event; and twenty-five percent (25%) is refunded for cancellations within seven days of your event. Should I cancel any of our scheduled classes or fail to show for any reason, your prepayment for that class(es) is fully refunded or applied to your remaining payment.

Yoga Therapeutics, NeuroMuscular Therapy, & Rolfing

Early in my career, I wanted so much to help my students "maximize their potential and minimize their liability," that I intensively studied anatomy, kinesiology, and physiology; and ultimately, I became a certified Neuromuscular Therapist. From the very beginning of my yoga career, my therapeutic skills evolved commensurate with my personal yoga practice and teaching.

In my earlier years, I encouraged students with significant body pain (which made practicing yoga difficult), to take advantage of my therapeutic skills by getting onto my therapy table. My intention was always to get them off my table as quickly as possible (usually after only one or two table sessions) and return them onto the yoga floor.

However, as my therapeutic yoga skills have progressed, I no longer invite students onto my therapy table relying instead upon the healing benefits of yoga.

Although I believe nothing is better for long-term pain intervention than yoga when regularly and appropriately practiced, I recognize that some people need more extensive “body work” than yoga can provide.

If you are experiencing chronic physical pain, or if you want significant body-work, I highly recommend the structural integration of the newer approach to Rolfing. My colleague, Ari Globerman, is both a certified Rolfer and a serious yoga student who joins me for morning yoga practice up to five days a week. If you want body work, I invite you to call Ari Globerman at 561-346-2225, or to see his website at www.arisrolfing.com for more information.

Private Lessons or Therapy In Your Home

Although I rarely go to peoples' homes for yoga or therapy, I will travel under special circumstances, such as when a student is semi or non-ambulatory. In addition to my standard $90 professional fee for a 60-90 minute appointment, there will be a negotiated travel surcharge based upon my round-trip travel time.
